Chapter 15
In less than an hour, all of Tang Li’s things were moved to another room.
Carl held an oval pendant carved from wood, turned to Tang Li and asked, “Your Highness the Insect Mother, where is the best place to put this thing?” After five days of treatment in the treatment chamber, all his injuries had been completely healed. Even because the therapeutic fluid used in the treatment chamber was of the highest grade, his body functions after recovery were much better than before.
Tang Li looked at the pendant in Karl’s hand, and a look of nostalgia flashed across his eyes. He carved this pendant based on the one his mother had in her memory. But even though it looked almost the same as the pendant in his memory, it was still not the original one. Moreover, the pendant also had the image of his mother in it.
So after making this pendant, he would only pick it up and look at it from time to time, but would never wear it on his body.
“Just put it on my bedside table for me.”
“Okay.”
While Carl was putting the pendant away, Tang Li looked around the room where he would live in the future. This room was obviously much more luxurious than the previous one he lived in, and it was also twice as large. The room even has separate spaces for the living room and bedroom, unlike the previous room which was simply separated by a screen.
Soon, Tang Li noticed a carved wooden door on one side of the wall in the living room. There were no locks or handles on the door, and it seemed that with just a gentle push, one could enter the other room without any hindrance.
If he remembered correctly, Izzy’s bedroom was on the other side of this wooden door – this wooden door actually connected his and Izzy’s room!
After seeing this door, for some reason, Tang Li’s mind flashed quickly with Marin Noble’s words not long ago. He said that the king insect and the queen insect should live together like this.
Why did he and Izzy have to live together like this?
Tang Li stared at the wooden door, thinking about Marin Noble’s words which seemed to contain a profound meaning. It was as if a strange electric current suddenly flowed through his heart, causing him to quickly shift his gaze away.
When Carl came out of the bedroom, what he saw was his favorite Princess Insect Queen, who was sitting upright on the sofa in the living room with her feet neatly placed together, drinking water from a teacup.
Carl walked up to Tang Li and asked, “Your Highness the Insect Mother, is there anything else you need me to sort out?”
After hearing Carl’s voice, Tang Li seemed to come back to his senses, “No, thank you for your hard work.”
The tentacles on Carl’s head trembled quickly with joy because of Tang Li’s praise. He immediately shook his head and said, “It’s not hard, it’s my honor to do anything for Your Highness the Insect Mother.”
And he knew very well that it would be impossible for him to get such a high-level treatment chamber at his level. It is very likely that His Majesty approved him to use the treatment chamber because of Her Royal Highness the Insect Mother. His life belongs to Her Majesty the Insect Mother, so there is no need to worry about such a small matter now.
After manipulating the implantation of the tall Zerg’s memories into Nicol Oak’s consciousness, Tang Li easily felt mentally exhausted these days. After talking to Karl for a few more words, he felt a little sleepy.
Carl, who was talking to Tang Li, also noticed the sleepy expression on Tang Li’s face. He immediately said, “Your Highness the Insect Mother, if you feel tired, take a nap first. I will be responsible for waking you up when it’s time for dinner.”
Tang Li did not reject Carl’s suggestion. He nodded and went into the bedroom. The moment his body touched the bed, he fell asleep.
Tang Li, who was unconscious, did not notice that a piece of skin on the back of his neck suddenly moved, then slowly bulged upwards a little.
A faint scent of honey emanated from the nectar gland that had not yet fully formed beneath the skin.
In the next room, in the bright and clean study, a slender finger casually opened the report of Alden’s application to be transferred back to the original nest, and the deep purple eyes quickly scanned the contents of the entire report. After seeing that, apart from the serious job description at the beginning, the rest of the report was almost entirely about expressing the author’s longing for the Worm Queen, Izzy’s eyes suddenly darkened, and she directly rejected Alden’s request.
It seems that he gave Alden Mance too little work, so he had time to compile these things that had nothing to do with his job in addition to his performance report.
At this moment, Izzy suddenly smelled a very faint scent of honey.
This honey fragrance is like the scent of the purest first snow melting on the top of a snowy mountain.
After smelling the honey fragrance, the expression on Iz’s face suddenly changed, and then his eyes became stern. He teleported directly into Tang Li’s room and activated the isolation device in the room, isolating Tang Li’s room from the outside world.
The extremely faint scent of honey floated out from the innermost bedroom like a thin thread. However, the scent of honey is extremely unstable and intermittent, as if it might disappear at any time.
“Tang Li, are you in there?” Izzy walked to the bedroom door. He tried to call Tang Li’s name a few times, but after a long time, there was no response from inside.
Without any hesitation, Izzy reached out and pushed open the door of Tang Li’s bedroom.
In the bedroom, the young man seemed to be sleeping uneasy. His body tossed and turned on the bed several times, causing the somewhat wide collar of his T-shirt to slide down his shoulders, revealing a large area of fair skin on his back. His entire slender neck fell completely into the eyes of Iz who had just entered the bedroom.
Izzy immediately noticed the slightly bulging skin on the young man’s slender neck.
Although the honey scent emanating from the young man’s body is very light, when it is accumulated in a room, it is enough to drive the Zerg crazy.
Smelling the honey fragrance in the air, even Izzy’s eyes couldn’t help but become a little darker than usual. The little mother insect was born less than three months ago, and at a normal rate, it would take at least five or six months for the mother insect’s first honey to be secreted. It was absolutely impossible for Tang Li’s nectar glands to mature at this time.
So what is going on now? This
